Seated Exercise Classes - All the exercises are based in a chair (so anyone can participate) there are 6 main components of the class: Warm up, Stretch, Strength exercises, Cardiovascular exercises, Cool Down and Relaxation.

Movement Classes - A mixture of seated exercises and functional fitness movement to improve strength, balance, flexibility and general health and fitness for the over 50 age group.

 

 

Austin Gendler win's 'Community Young Achiever Award'

 

Congratulation to Austin who has won the Young Achievers Award 2009 for his volunteering with Hogg's Fitness & First Aid. Austin says "winning this award is a dream come true, and I can't thank Hogg's Fitness enough for giving me the chance to be a volunteer and for all the training and support they have given me."

 

 

Nutrition Workshop

During July and August Active Health are running a number of nutrition workshop Free of charge at 11 locations across Epping Forest and Harlow. These workshop will cover: What nutrition is, why it is important, what a balanced diet is, importance of vitamins and minerals and you will also be given recipe cards.
