First aid regulation changes
The changes to first aid regulations that came in place on 1 October 2013 removde the requirement for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to approve first aid training providers.
The removal of HSE approval process gives businesses greater flexibility to choose their own training providers and first aid training that is right for their workplace, based on their needs assessment and their individual business needs.
Hogg's Fitness & First Aid are here to make sure you have the correct level of training to cover your first aid needs, our highly trained team will provide you with all the advice and training that you need.

Is your workplace prepared
Did you know that an estimated 629,000 workers in Britain had an accident at work in 2013/14?
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out a risk assessment, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training. However, having the correct first aid provision in the workplace is not just a legal requirement, it is incredibly important for the safety of all members of staff!
